High-quality Fluorescent Lamps with the Truest Color

Presenting the best quality of fluorescent light is of the upmost importance to many OEMs such as manufacturers of jewelry showcases and other displays, signage and similar types of applications.  In fact many OEMs are looking for fluorescent lamps that “reproduce” color in relation to a natural or ideal light source.  At LCD Lighting (LCDL), we are one of the leading manufacturers of just such lights.

The color of fluorescent lighting is determined by the Color Rendering Index (CRI), which is defined as quantitatively measuring the ability of the light source to reveal the color and quality of the light.  The index uses a numerical scale from 0 to 100 percent, and the higher the CRI, such as an 80 – 95 percent, the truer the light is thought to be.  At the top of the scale, a CRI of a 100 percent is natural daylight created by the sun.

One thing to keep in mind is that the CRI is completely independent of color temperature and lamps with the same color temperature light source can have different CRIs.  However the phosphor used in manufacturing lamps is the determining factor of color temperature.  The most common industry lamp phosphors produce the following color temperatures: Warm White - 2800° K to 3200° K; Cool White - 4000° K to 4500° K; and Day Light - 6200° K to 6800° K.

At LCDL, our proprietary color rendering index (CRI) offers the ability to produce more rare earth tri-phosphors to give our fluorescent lamps the truest color with a natural look.  In addition we offer OEMs and other end-users the chance to get custom colors and images for unique products and application requirements.  Also even with our 100 various shades of white or phosphor blends, if we do not already manufacture what you need, we will develop a new blend exclusively for your application.  Please refer to our website for further information regarding our exceptional line of standard and customized fluorescent lamps.

LCDL brings a wealth of patented and propriety technologies to our lamps that set us apart from the competition.  Our line of high-quality fluorescent lamps features custom phosphor engineering along with precise color temperature, CRI index, and brightness (lm/watt).

One of the proprietary fluorescent technologies we proudly offer our customers is Robo-Bend, which validates why LCDL should be your first choice when selecting a fluorescent light manufacturer.  This cutting-edge technology allows serpentine hot- and cold-cathode lamps to be manufactured with automated bending processes.  In addition Robo-Bend technology decreases production time and allows for faster deliveries and reduced inventories.

Another one of our exclusive technologies is Ultra-Bright™, which gives us the ability to manufacture lamps that surpass the performance and quality of anything else like it in the industry today.  Our patented Ultra-Bright lamps offer twice the efficiency (lm/watts) and a 50% improvement in lumen maintenance.  Furthermore, offering maximal lighting uniformity, Ultra-Bright lamps eliminate any performance loss at the bends and deliver more total lumen output for a given wattage input.  Any hot- or cold- cathode, bent fluorescent lamp from 8mm to 25mm diameters can have the technology applied to it.
